Private Prescriptions
Non NHS prescriptions can be dispensed from any of our pharmacies. All patients will need to pay for the medicine and a dispensing fee.
Overview
In dispensing, the pharmacist will carry out a legal and clinical appropriateness check on the medication. All medicines will have been supplied from our wholesaler and will be suitable for use. Patients will also be given advice about their medicine and how to get the best from their medicines. As this is a non NHS service, all patients will be required to pay for the prescription. The charge will depend on the cost of the medicine.
