BADHAM PHARMACY supports Wear It, Beat It in aid of British Heart Foundation

Friday February 6th 2015 is national Wear It, Beat It Day – a fund raising day in aid of The British Heart Foundation.
Badham Pharmacy are proud to be supporters of this National Fundraising and Awareness Day.  All staff are being encouraged to bin their uniform for the day, and wear red to work.
Catherine Morgan, Finance and Resources Manager said “Our founder, Richard Badham, sadly passed away in his early 60s from heart problems.  Since then, his widow, Jean Badham has tirelessly worked to help raise money for this important charity.  Peter and Lin Badham have continued this tradition, and Badham Pharmacy are one of the sponsors of the Cotswold Bike Ride as well as supporting other fund raising initiatives.  We felt it was important to support this special day”.
Many of the branches will be hosting special events to raise additional funds.  Branches in Churchdown at Morley Avenue and Blacksmith Lane and Church Road, Bishops Cleeve will be selling cakes with all monies raised being donated to this important charity.  You could also pop into our branch at 256 London Road, Charlton Kings for a blood pressure and BMI check.  Most branches will be running either a raffle and/or a “Guess the Number of Feathers in a Red Feather Boa” competition.
